Installed in a garden in Hertfordshire, this kitchen was designed to cater for all occasions, from everyday cooking & relaxing, to entertaining friends and family.
Designed around a Kamado Joe, this island kitchen measures 2.8m x 1.8m, with enough room for 9 people to sit around it.
Our customer chose a stunning colour combination, landing on a RAL 7043 frame (Dark Grey), paired with slate panelling. The island was finished off with a Forest Black Granite worktop. It was logistically tricky to manouvere such a large piece of granite, but the finished look was worth the effort as it looked absolutely stunning.
The real shining points of this kitchen though are the appliances and finishing elements the client added to give it a sleek, impressive look.
We worked with an expert electrician, Gareth White Electrical Services to install LED under lighting throughout the kitchen, as well as wireless chargers. The chargers were fitted under the worktop, so that nothing can be seen on top, yet the customer can charge their devices simply by placing them on the work surface.
Our customer opted for a Blastcool Outdoor Fridge which is the perfect solution for outdoor use as it can withstand all extremes of the delightful British weather!
The kitchen was completed with two drink cooling solutions. Firstly, a bespoke ice trough, designed so that it can be partially used or fully used when there are more people. The customer also opted for a Kaelo wine cooler which perfectly cools a single bottle of wine- ideal for more relaxing occasions.
This kitchen was a pleasure to design, build and install and it was great to work with so many other small businesses to pull it together.
